LARIMAR

Il Larimar è una delle pietre più rare al mondo ed è stata scoperta solo recentemente.
Le sfumature della pietra di Larimar vanno dal turchese al verde, con punte dal grigio al bianco, riflettendo perfettamente i colori e le energie del mar dei Caraibi.

Questa pietra proviene da un unica miniera al mondo, che si trova proprio a sud-ovest della Repubblica Dominicana.
Il Larimar è stato scoperto in riva al mare: il nome "larimar" nasce dall'unione delle parole "lagrima del mar". Ciononostante, è una gemma di origine vulcanica. In un secondo tempo, infatti, si è scoperto che in realtà si trovava in zona montuosa, e che veniva trasportata al mare dal fiume Bahouruco. 

Raggiungere la miniera è veramente un'ardua impresa !
