MASTER OF OCEAN 2016

L'événement sera à Playa Encuentro, 4 km de Cabarete près de Sosua, où en février et mars, la mer ouverte et le fond peu profonde et de sable, favorise la formation de grosses vagues, le vent constant favorable et l'excellent climat, permettent d'aller faire du surf, SUP (variante du surf debout sur une planche et vous déplacer à l'aide d'une pagaie), planche à voile et kitesurf simultanément a niveau du monde entier.

La Côte-Nord, de la République dominicaine, dans la matinée, offre des vagues sans vent, idéal pour le surf et SUP.

Après, vers midi, commencent les courants de vents alizés pour la planche à voile et le kitesurf.

Tout cela a créé Master of the Ocean, la compétition de sports nautiques extrêmes les plus importants de la République dominicaine, qui vise à remédier à Hawaï et au Costa Rica, attirer tous les fans de ces disciplines.

Zane Schweitzer (Hawaï), a remporté le titre pour la deuxième année consécutive.

L'athlète locale Samuel "Sammy" Hults Perez a terminé deuxième. 

Fiona Wylde a gagné dans la catégorie féminine.

Le prix "Master of the Ocean" a été décerné à Max Soi qui, avec 6 autres enfants, ont montré une grande habileté dans la "Kids Surf Expression Session".

Pendant l'événement, en plus de la compétition sur l'eau, ils seront tenus de stages, de jeux et de divertissement pour les athlètes et les spectateurs.

La manifestazione sarà a Playa Encuentro, 4 km da Cabarete e vicino a Sosua, dove tra febbraio e marzo, il mare aperto con fondali bassi e sabbiosi favoriscono la formazione di grandi onde, il vento costante favorevole e l'ottimo clima, permettono di praticare surf, SUP (variante del surf in cui si sta in piedi su una tavola e ci si sposta utilizzando una pagaia), windsurf e kitesurf contemporaneamente a livello mondiale.

La Costa Nord, della Repubblica Dominicana, durante la mattinata, offre onde senza vento, ideali per i surf e SUP

 poi, verso mezzogiorno cominciano le correnti degli alisei per windsurf e kitesurf.

Tutto questo ha dato vita a Master of Ocean, la competizione di sport acquatici estremi più importante della Repubblica Dominicana, che punta a superare Hawai e Costa Rica, attirando tutto l'anno appassionati di questi discipline.

                   Zane Schweitzer (Hawai), ha vinto il titolo per il secondo anno consecutivo.

                        L'atleta locale di Samuel "Sammy" Hults Perez è arrivato secondo.

                                         Fiona Wylde, ha vinto nella categoria femminile.

Il premio "Futuro Master of the Ocean" è stato assegnato a Max Sé, che insieme ad altri sei bambini ha mostrato grande abilità nel "Kids Surf Expression Session".

Durante la manifestazione, oltre alle competizioni in acqua, si svolgeranno stage, giochi e tanto intrattenimento per atleti e spettatori.

The event will be at Playa Encuentro, 4 km from Cabarete near Sosua, where in February and March, the open sea with a shallow and sandy ocean floor, stimulates the formation of large waves. The constant wind and the excellent climate make it possible to go surfing, SUP (variant of surfing where you stand on a board and move using a paddle), windsurfing and kitesurfing simultaneously.

In the morning, on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic there are waves without wind, ideal for surfing and SUP.

Then around noon appear the trade winds, creating good waves for windsurfing and kitesurfing.

All this has lead to the creation of Master of Ocean, the most important competition of extreme water sports in the Dominican Republic, which aims to overtake Hawaii and Costa Rica, attracting fans of these disciplines all year round.
