LE SPIAGGE DE LAS GALERAS

                                   A Las Galeras, ogni spiaggia è diversa :

a Playa Grande si può fare il bagno solamente in certi punti, perchè la maggior parte dei fondali sono bassi e ci sono i coralli, ma è meravigliosa per una rilassante passeggiata.

 Alla Playta l'acqua è trasparentissima e calma, perchè la barriera corallina è molto vicina, raggiungibile a nuoto e si sono formate delle piacevolissime piscine tra il fondali di coralli.

 A Playa Rincon, c'è tutto!

In fondo a sinistra, c'è il Cano Frio, uno splendido fiume d'acqua dolce e trasparente, che sfocia nel mare

Al centro l'acqua è bassa ma a volte con qualche onda.

A destra c'è un'insenatura protetta da una scogliera, quindi l'acqua è sempre calma e perfetta per magnifiche nuotate e snorkeling.

Oltrepassando la scogliera si trova l'oceano aperto, di un inimmaginabile azzurro, ma a volte con grandi onde;

Playa Fronton è per esperti nuotatori e per chi ama fare snorkeling.

I fondali sono rocciosi e a

  volte con correnti che portano lontano dalla riva.

                                                Impossibile fare il bagno senza le scarpette.

e per ricordarvi di queste spiagge.....

BEACHES IN LAS GALERAS

                        In Las Galeras, every beach is different:

in Playa Grande you can swim only at certain points, because most of the seabed are low and there are corals, but is wonderful for a relaxing stroll.

 in  Playta the water is highly transparent and calm, because the reef is very close, within swimming and have formed a very pleasant swimming between underwater coral

 In Playa Rincon, there is everything!

at the end on the left, there is the Cano Frio, a beautiful freshwater river and transparent, which flows into the sea

At the center of the water is low, but sometimes with a few waves.

On the right is a cove protected by a reef, so the water is always calm and perfect for wonderful swimming and snorkeling.

Past the cliff is the open ocean, a blue unimaginable, but sometimes with big waves;;

in Playa Fronton is for experienced swimmers and for those who love to snorkel.

The seabed is rocky and sometimes with current leading away from the shore.

 Impossible to swim without the shoes.

PLAYA RINCON

Playa Rincon, la mia passione!

E' una spiaggia adatta a tutti, è molto estesa ed in ogni sua parte offre uno spettacolo diverso, che in questo post cercherò di descrivervi.

Da Las Galeras, si riprende la strada in direzione di Samanà e dopo circa 4 km si gira a destra, altri 12 km circa e siete in paradiso !

Questa prima foto, è stata presa dall'alto e si vede solo la parte destra della spiaggia

 

                                                               
Nel centro del paesino di Los Tocones, dovrete girare a destra.                                                  Lungo la strada per raggiungere Rincon, troverete
 l' "iguanario", dove dei volontari,   proteggono, nutrono, aiutano a
procreare e fanno visitare ai turisti delle
bellissime "iguana rinoceronte", razza endemica dell'Isola d'Hispaniola a rischio d'estinzione
                  (l'ingresso è a offerta libera!)

Poco più avanti,il panorama vi lascerà senza parole: 

ecco la penisola di Cabo Cabron e la Baia di Rincon

Dopo aver raggiunto il paesino di Rincon, all'unico incrocio, si gira a destra e la strada per raggiungere la spiaggia diventa sterrata.

                       

                      Questo, è quello che vi troverete di fronte, alla fine della strada e potrete scegliere...

                       

se andare a sinistra

o a destra.

Se andrete a destra, in fondo, troverete uno splendido mare, poco profondo e sempre tranquillo perchè protetto da una penisoletta rocciosa.
Lettini da spiaggia, venditori di souvenir, "coco loco", "pina colada", noleggio di attrezzatura per fare snorkeling e ristoranti.

Se vi piace camminare un po', proseguite oltre il piccolo promontorio e vi troverete davanti un'altra parte di spiaggia e di mare che vi lascerà a bocca aperta !
In questo lato non c'è nulla ed è più adatto ad esperti nuotatori e a chi ama fare snorkeling.

Se invece deciderete di andare a sinistra,  verso il promontorio
di Cabo Cabron, arriverete dove finisce la spiaggia con un incantevole rio d'acqua dolce freddissima, che si chiama appunto "Cano frio".



Anche lì potrete sdraiarvi comodamente sui lettini o fare il bagno nel rio.
Questa parte, è più selvaggia e anche il mare è spesso più ondoso, perchè meno riparato.

Oppure, mentre aspettate che vi cucinino la vostra aragosta, potete rilassarvi, godendovi una piccola escursione con una barchetta a remi risalendo il rio e addentrandovi nel mondo silenzioso e incantato delle mangrovie.

PLAYA RINCON

Playa Rincon, my passion!

It 'a beach suitable for everyone, is very extensive and every part has a different show, that in this post

 I will try to describe to you.

Las Galeras, take the road towards Samana and after about 4 km turn right, another 12 km and you are in paradise!

This first picture was taken from the top and you only see the right side of the beach

 

                                                               

In the center of the village of Los Tocones, you turn right. Along the road to Rincon, you will find
 l '"iguanario" where volunteers, protect, nourish, help procreate and make tourists visit
 the beautiful "rhinoceros iguana", endemic race of the Island of Hispaniola endangered

A little further on, the view will leave you speechless:

here is the peninsula of Cabo Cabron and Rincon Bay.

After arriving at the Rincon village, the only intersection, turn right and the road becomes a dirt road to reach the beach.

                       

                     This is what you will be facing the end of the road and you can choose ...

                       

if you go to the left...

or to go to the right..

If you go to the right, at the bottom, you will find a splendid sea, shallow and always quiet because protected from the rocks..
Beach chairs, souvenir sellers, "coco loco", "pina colada", rental of snorkel equipment and restaurants.

If you like to walk a bit ', go over the little hill and you will come to another part of the beach and sea that will leave you speechless!
On this side there is nothing and is more suitable for experienced swimmers and those who love to snorkel.

If you decide to go to the left, towards the promontory Cabo Cabron,
arrive where does the beach with a lovely river freshwater very cold, which is called  "Cano frio"


Even there you can lie on the loungers on the beach or to swim in the river.
This part is wilder and the sea is often more waves, why not repaired.

Or, while you wait for your lobster kitchen, you can relax, enjoying a little excursion with a rowing boat going up the river and entering the  silent and enchanted mangrove's world.
