From early afternoon, on weekends, or for a birthday, a wedding, or the feast of the patron saint, every opportunity we can to play and dance.
Around Las Galeras, there are still many villages without electricity. Nevertheless the desire and the ability to make merry. The celebrations may also begin from 2 pm. In the early hours of the evening, when it gets dark, light oil lamps and playing the instruments that are represented in this framework as well as other more improvised, such as pots, boxes or cups. All present, from the youngest to the oldest, are unleashed in unbridled Merengue or romantic bachatas (typical dances Dominicans), washed down with rum, Mamajuana (liqueur) and beer.

Romeo Santos, was born in the Bronx on 07.21.1981, from Dominican father and Puerto Rican mother.
It 'was the lead singer of the group Aventura, became famous for the song Obsesion (2003/2004).
In 2011, he announced the dissolution of the group, to begin a new career as a soloist.
Shortly after she released her first album
                            Formula Vol.1.
In 2012, came THE KING KING STAYS
and in 2014, FORMULA Vol.2,
with songs like ERES MIA,  PROPUESTA INDECENTE, CANCIONCITA DE AMOR, LLEVAME CON TIGO and many other

Initially in the Dominican Republic, the "bachata" was "the music of the poor", the lyrics expressing difficult situations, sad, for this was called "musica de Amargue" ("music of bitterness").
Until the '80s, was danced in the countryside, in the poorest neighborhoods and seedy venues, then Luis Segura, with the song Pena por ti, took her to all the radio.
In 1990, Juan Luis Guerra, was a huge success with the album Bachata rosa, which brought the Bachata worldwide.
