                             Dans ce cadre est représentée la récolte de canne à sucre.

En République Dominicaine, l'agriculture c'est l'une des principales ressources.
Après la pêche et le tourisme, sont les cultures de café, cacao, tabac et la canne à sucre.
Pour ces cultures, le travail utilisé c'est d' Haïti.
Travailleurs Haïtiens vivent dans des villages appelés batey.
Le batey, qui sont présentés aux touristes, lors d'une randonnée, sont composés de petites maisons simples, tous pareils, équipé d'électricité, d'eau, un petit potager et quelques poules.
Mais malheureusement, la majorité, sont formés à partir des cabanes en bois ou faite avec des matériaux recyclés, sans salle de bains, sans eau et sans les écoles pour les enfants.

Dans ces villages, naissent et meurent sans laisser de trace, les enfants, ne sont même pas signalés à un bureau d'enregistrement!

                                In this painting is represented harvesting sugar cane.

In the Dominican Republic, agriculture is one of the major resources.
After the fishing and tourism, are the crops of coffee, cocoa, tobacco and sugar cane.
For these crops, labor used is from Haiti.
Haitians Workers live in villages called batey.
The batey, which are shown to tourists, while hiking, are composed of simple, small houses all alike, equipped with electricity, water, a small vegetable garden and a few chickens.
But unfortunately, the majority, are formed from wood cabins or made with recycled materials, without bathrooms, without water and without schools for children.

In these villages, are born and die without leaving a mark, the children, are not even reported to a registry office!

What is striking in this context are the elongated shapes of bodies and, as always, the colors.

The Dominican Republic is an island that depends on tourism and agriculture. In the peninsula of Samana, tourism is still developing and agriculture is the main source of livelihood.

Each family together then in the markets of the various countries where more local products, ranging from corn to pineapple, from coffee to tomatoes, avocado and mango to papaya to Yucca.

They are generally women to take care of the sale, showing their wares in large baskets or jute bags.
